Enyimba sign Tosin Omoyele from Plateau United
Enyimba have announced the signing of Tosin Omoyele from Plateau United.
The 24-year-old signed a three-year contract that will keep him at Enyimba Stadium until 2023.
Omoyele, who featured for the Aba side at the Gov. Ikpeazu Cup — which Enyimba won — is the second acquisition to be confirmed by the club since the transfer window opened in August.
“Standing #TogetherForVictory for The People’s Elephant in the 2020/21 season is our dazzling new centre forward, Tosin Omoyele,” Enyimba, who are preparing for CAF Champions League preliminary two-legged tie against Burkinababe club Rahimo, confirmed on Monday.

Omoyele started his career at the now-defunct City of David in 2012 and made his debut for the club’s first team in 2015. In the 2015-16 campaign, the striker scored five goals in ten appearances for the club, who were in the third tier at the time.
The following season, Omoyele moved to Osun United, where he notched 17 goals and five assists in 30 games in the Nigeria National League — a feat that earned him the highest goalscorer award in the division.
After a just a season with the Oshogbo side, the forward attracted interest from top Nigeria Professional Football League clubs, but in the end he joined Plateau United.
In January 2019, Omoyele moved to Egyptian side Nogoom FC, but barely six months later, he returned to Plateau United.
