Watford agree deal to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Club Brugges

Watford and Club Brugges have reached an agreement over the transfer of Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis to Vicarage Road.
The 23-year-old looked set to return to Brugges after his loan spell at German club Köln came to an end last month, but he is now close to joining Watford.

“An agreement with Club Brugges has been reached for the transfer of exciting young forward Emmanuel Dennis, we are delighted to confirm,” Watford, who won promotion back to the English Premier League last month, announced on Twitter.
Dennis will put pen to paper with the Hornets for a fee believed to be in the region of €5m once he agrees personal terms with the club and passes a medical.
Capped twice by Nigeria, Dennis joined Brugges from Ukrainian side Zorya Lugansk in July 2017.
He was shipped to German side Köln in January 2021 following a difficult start to the 2020-21 season that saw him struggle for form and fitness.
At Köln, the winger also failed to live up to expectations, failing to score in nine appearances.
