Victor Osimhen hits double figure in Serie A
Victor Osimhen reached double figure for goals in Serie A after scoring twice in Napoli’s 4-1 victory at Spezia on Saturday.
Osimhen netted a brace — his first for the club — in the first-half to give Gennaro Gattuso’s side a 3-0 lead after Piotr Zieliński had opened the scoring.
After a difficult start to life at Sao Paulo Stadium, the Nigeria international is beginning to justify his €80m transfer fee to Gli Azzurri.
The Nigerian got his first of the afternoon on 23 minutes, finding the bottom corner after latching onto Zieliński’s delightful through ball.

A minute before the break, the former Wolfsburg man chested down Lorenzo Insigne’s freekick before smashing the ball into the roof of the net from close range to increase his Serie A tally to ten goals for the season and extend his scoring run to four matches.

Roberto Piccoli pulled one back with a tap-in in the 64th minute after the ball broke to him.
But with eleven minutes left to play, Osimhen set up Hirving Lozano with a square pass to score and put the game beyond the hosts.
