Akwa United goalkeeper Jean Efala returns to Cameroon squad after four-year absence
Akwa United goalkeeper Jean Efala has been called up to the Cameroon squad for Africa Cup of Nations games against Rwanda and Cape Verde.
Efala, who received his first Cameroon call-up in February 2013, returns to the side after a four-year absence.
The Promise Keepers first-choice shot-stopper is one of four goalkeepers named by António Conceição in the Indomitable Lions’ 25-man squad for the two matches.

He is listed alongside NK Istra’s Fabrice Ondoa, AS Vista man Simon Omossola and Kerrido Haschou, who plays for local side PWD Bamenda.
As expected, Ajax goalkeeper André Onana is left out, having been handed a one-year ban from football by UEFA for doping offence on February 5.
In the absence of Onana, it remains to be seen who Conceição would prefer between the sticks.
Cameroon, who have already secured top spot of their group, face Rwanda on March 26, and Cape Verde four days later.
