The eight-time Ligue 1 champions named the forward, who is on a season-long loan from Levante, as its 2019-20 player of the season after the forward polled the highest votes on the club’s official website.
The annual award — sponsored by information technology company, Iliane Informatique — saw 40% of 3,500 Nantes fans and supporters rooting for the 24-year-old winger, who notched nine goals and eight assists in 30 outings for the Canaries since August 2019.
“With 40% of the votes allocated among more than 3,500 voters, Moses SIMON was therefore rewarded by Nantes fans for his very beautiful performances in the yellow and green tunic,” the club wrote on their official website.

Reports in France claim Nantes have signed the Jos-born striker permanently from Levante on a four-year deal, after activating his €5m buy-out clause.
Simon kicked off his European career in January 2014, when he joined AS Trencin from Jos-based GBS Academy, about a year-and-a-half after Ajax cancelled a preliminary contract with the then Nigeria Under-20 international.
He scored 17 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Slovakian side, before moving to Belgian club KAA Gent for €650,000 on a a three-year contract.
During his Gent stint, Simon netted 21 goals in 108 league appearances.
He won the league title in the 2014-15 season and the Super Cup in the 2015-16 campaign.
Spanish La Liga club, Levante signed Simon from Gent for €5m in August 2018, but after struggling to settle at the club, the winger was loaned to Nantes in August 2019.
Simon debuted for the Super Eagles on March 25, 2015, replacing Anthony Ujah in an international friendly against Uganda. He scored his first goal for the senior national team six months later in a 2-0 international friendly win against Niger on September 8, 2015.
