Super Eagles watch: Ogenyi Onazi makes first Denizlispor appearance

Ogenyi Onazi made his Denizlispor debut, as Mehmet Õzdilek’s side lost 2-1 at Galatasaray to extend their losing streak to six matches in all competitions.
Emre Akbad gave Galatasaray the lead in the first half with a VAR-assisted goal and Ramadel Falcao’s delightful half volleyed doubled the hosts’ lead, before Muhammet Ozkal pulled one back with a close-range effort.
Onazi, a January signing from Trabzonspor, was on the pitch for 64 minutes in the Süper Lig match, before being replaced by Mustafa Yumlu.

His compatriot, Jesse Sekidika, was a second-half substitute for Galatasaray.
The 23-year-old forward joined the Yellow-Reds this month from Eskişehirspor.
Galatasaray were without Sekidika’s compatriot Henry Onyekuru, whose second debut for the club has been delayed by a combination of licence denial and illness.
The Istanbul club, due to its tax problem, could not obtain a playing license for the nigerian, who was diagnosed with malaria after arriving Istanbul from Lagos.
However, Onyekuru — who returned to the club for a second spell on loan from Monaco — was treated and discharged from hospital.
Also, Gala have finally secured registration for the Nigerian — and Onyekuru could make his second debut for the club in Thursday’s Turkish Cup clash with Konyaspor.
