Moses Simon netted his fourth Jupiler Pro League goal of the season and grabbed an assist in KAA Gent‘s 3-1 home win over Royal Excel Mouscron on Friday.
In a game that saw three Nigerians – Simon, Anderson Esiti and Samuel Kalu – named in the Gent starting line-up, the Nigeria international winger scored from the penalty spot to put the hosts in front.
Four minutes later, his compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi equalized, but Simon set up Yuyo Kubo to restore Gent’s lead and Dylan Bronn struck in the second half to secure the home team all three points.
