Napoli’s Victor Osimhen extended his scoring streak to three games with a brace against Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in the Serie A on Thursday.
Osimhen scored either side of a Fabian Ruiz strike and Piotr Zielinski also found the back of the net to hand Luciano Spalletti’s team a 4-0 win over La Samp
The brace took the Nigeria international’s league tally to three — and five in all competitions — for the season.
After failing to score in his first two games of the season, Osimhen netted twice in the dramatic Europa League 2-2 draw at Leicester City.
That was followed by a single strike in Monday’s 4-0 victory at Udinese.
The win against Sampdora means Napoli have made five wins out of five, and that moves them two points clear at the top of the Serie A standings.
