Caleb Esu joins Enyimba coaching staff

Caleb Esu, former Dakkada head coach, has joined Enyimba’s coaching set-up.
Out of job since parting company with Dakkada at the end of the 2019-20 season, Esu has been handed a coaching role at the Enyimba Stadium.
“Caleb Esu has been appointed to the technical crew of Enyimba Football Club,” Enyimba announced the appointment on their website.
The Akwa-Ibom-bom gaffer will serve as No 2 to the incoming head coach.

Fatai Osho left Enyimba last week after his contract came to an end

Enyimba are without a head coach following the departure of Fatai Osho this month, after his contract at the club came to an end.
The two-time CAF champions are set to name former Nigeria international Finidi George as their head coach.
Finidi George is set to be named as Enyimba head coach

George — who retired from his playing career after featuring for clubs like Ajax, Real Sociedad and Real Mallorca — opened talks with the club two weeks ago, but his appointment as the club’s new boss has been delayed owning to a disagreement between the two parties over who would act as an assistant to the former Derby County player.
The 50-year-old wants to bring in his assistant, but Enyimba insist on appointing one of the local coaches to work with the gaffer, who holds a UEFA B license.
