Anthony Nwakaeme nets brace, grabs assist as Trabzonspor extend losing streak to three games

Anthony Nwakaeme set up one and scored two as Trabzonspor squandered a two-goal lead to lose 4-3 against Kasimpasa at Medical Park Stadyumu on Friday.
After taking a 3-1 lead, the Black Sea Storm appeared on course to claim their first victory in three Süper Lig matches, but Yusuf Erdogan’s strike few minutes before the break and two late goals earned Kasimpasa a comeback win against Eddie Newtown’s side.
Mikael Tirpan put the visitors in front in the eighth minute, but Nwakaeme — who has been overlooked by Gernot Rohr for Nigeria’s AFCON qualifying ties against Sierra Leone next month — teed up Serkan Asan to equalize before the Nigerian, himself, fired two past goalkeeper Ramazan Kose to give the hosts a 3-1 advantage and take his league haul to four goals this season.
Shortly before the half-time break, Yusuf reduced the deficit to one.
Kasimpasa were awarded a penalty 13 minutes into the second half, but Aytac Kara blew it away.
With three minutes of normal time left, though, the Apaches were level thanks to Edgar le’s own goal, and deep inside stoppage time before Guinea forward Bangali-Foide Koita struck deep inside stoppage time to hand Mehmet Altıparmak’s men all three points.
