GROUP STAGE DRAW: 2018 TOTAL CAF CONFEDERATION CUP
Group stage draw of the 2018 Total CAF Confederation Cup holds on Saturday, April 21 at the CAF headquarters in Cairo by 12:00 Hours GMT (1:00 pm Nigerian Time).
Nigeria’s only surviving club on the continent, Enyimba FC alongside USM Alger of Algeria, Al Hilal of Sudan and AS Vita Club of DR Congo have been placed in Pot One and seeded into four Groups, based on CAF rankings in the past five seasons.
Pot Two contain the 12 unseeded teams which will be randomly picked to fill the remaining three spots in each of the four groups.
In a new schedule released by CAF interclub committee, Group stage matches will hold on Wednesdays and Sundays between May 4 and August 28.
Top two teams in each group will qualify for the quarter finals of the annual club competition.
