ROSENBORG SIGN NIGERIAN YOUNGSTER IGOH

Nigerian teenager Igoh Ogbu has signed a four-year contract with Norwegian club Rosenborg after impressing during a trial spell.

Ogbu, who is a midfielder but can also play right-back, has been assigned the no. 30 jersey.
Speaking about the player, Rosenborg coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen said: “We’ve watched Igoh for a year now and he’s going to be a fantastic football player.
“In addition to being a talented young man, he is also a very nice type, and has performed well in the team. It will be exciting to see his development when he trains for a longer time with the team.”
The 18-year old expressed delight at earning a deal at the club after a period of training in Trondheim.
“I have had a great time in the club. It was a bit difficult at first, but it’s gotten better every time I’ve been here,” he said.
“I think this is a very nice step for me in my career. My dream is now coming true. Right now I’m just very happy.”
