•Henry Onyekuru – Anderlecht
Henry Onyekuru’s late goal earned Anderlecht a 1-0 win over Uche Agbo’s Standard Liege on Sunday.
The Nigerian nodded in a cross two minutes from time much to the delight of the Anderlecht faithful for his fourth league goal of the season.
It was their first home win against the Liege side since April 2014.
Onyekuru received a yellow card for taking off his shirt during his goal celebration. Agbo was also booked.
Moses Simon, Anderson Esiti, Samuel Kalu – Gent | Emmanuel Dennis Club Brugge
Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis’ fifth league goal of the season helped table-topping Club Brugge claim a 2-1 win over Moses Simon’s KAA Gent.
Nigeria international winger, Simon, was in the Gent starting line-up but was replaced by compatriot Samuel Kalu 15 minutes to the end of normal time.
Another Nigeria international, Anderson Esiti, also featured for Gent.
•Abdul Ajagun – Kortrijk
Former Nigeria U20 captain, Abdul Ajagun, scored the opener in KV Kortrijk’s 2-1 home loss to Joseph Akpala’s K.V. Oostende.
Ajagun was on the pitch for the entirety of the match, while Akpala was a second-half substitute.
Taiwo Awoniyi – Mouscron
Former Nigeria U23 international, Taiwo Awoniyi, scored his third Jupiler goal for Royal Royal Excel Mouscron in the 2-2 draw with KV Mechelen.
•Peter Olayinka – Zulte Wagerem
Peter Olayinka took his season’s tally to four in the league after scoring for Zulte Waregem in the 3-1 loss to visiting Lokeren.
