FIFA men’s world rankings: Nigeria move up to 32
Nigeria have moved up to 32nd in FIFA’s men’s world rankings and third in Africa, following their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
The Super Eagles have moved above Algeria and Tunisia, who drop to 36th and 43rd respectively after their AFCON outings.
Senegal — who claimed the 2021 AFCON after beating Egypt in the final — have risen to 18th in the world, remaining in top spot in Africa.
Morocco are also unmoved in the Africa rankings, maintaining second spot — but climb from 28th to 24th in the world rankings.
Egypt rise two places to fourth in Africa — and 11 places to 34th in the world.
There’s no movement in the top-three in the world — Belgium maintain top spot, and they’re followed by Brazil and France.
