Inter announce signing of Victor Moses

Inter Milan have confirmed the signing of ex-Nigeria international Victor Moses on loan for the rest of the season with an option to make the deal permanent.
The 29-year-old joins the Nerazzuri after cutting short his loan spell at Fenerbahçe.
“Victor Moses is officially an Inter player. The 29-year-old Nigerian has joined the Nerazzurri on loan with an option to buy,” the Italian club announced.
He will be united with Antonio Conte, under whom he played at Chelsea.
Moses began his professional career at Wigan in 2010. He moved to Chelsea in 2012. During his first season at The Blues, he scored ten goals in 43 matches, winning the UEFA Europa League in the process.
After the first season, the winger struggled to command a regular first-team place at the club, and was sent out on loan to Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.
But following the arrival of Conte in 2016, his status as a key player for the Blues was restored.
He helped Chelsea claim the Premier League title in the 2016-17 season and FA Cup in 2018.
Playing as a wing-back, Moses scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 78 appearances under Conte over two seasons.
Conte’s successor Maurizio Sarri could not accommodate the Nigerian in the team and once again, the player made a temporary move away from the club — joining Fenerbahçe on an 18-month loan contract.
At international level, Moses played for all of England’s youth teams, also finishing as the top scorer at the U17 European Championship. In 2012, however, he switched his allegiance to Nigeria, the country of his birth.
The player, who announced his retirement from international football last year, scored twelve goals in 38 matches for the Super Eagles. He took part in two World Cups and won the Africa cup of Nations in 2013.
