NPFL TRANSFER RUMOURS: Ali, Etim, Abalogu, Doyeni, Duru

The Nigeria Professional Football League 2021-22 season transfer window opened on August 2 and will run till September 20.

Champions Akwa United, Rivers United and Enyimba have understandably been very busy in the market, but other teams are also trying to strengthen their squads.

Here are the latest transfer news on signings and gossip from the Nigeria Professional Football League

🔼 Rivers United have submitted an official offer for Kano Pillars captain Rabiu Ali, who is reportedly keen on a new challenge.

According to a number of sources, negotiations are going “smoothly”.

🔼 Out-of-contract defenders John Lazarus and Ebube Duru are close to joining Rivers United on one-year contracts.

The two full-backs played for Lobi Stars last season.
