Galatasaray’s Valentine Ozornwafor a surprise inclusion in Nigeria’s 24-man list for Cameroon friendly
Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has revealed his final 24-man squad that will travel to Austria for next month’s friendly with Cameroon, with Galatasaray defender Valentine Ozornwafor included, despite not playing competitive football since January 9.
The 67-year-old gaffer had released a 31-man provisional list for the test game in Wiener Neustadt, but that has been trimmed to 24.

Injured stars Joe Aribo, Kevin Akpoguma, Samuel Chukwueze, Henry Onyekuru and Zaidu Sanusi have all been exempted from the tie.
Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo and Almeria striker Sadiq Umar are understood to have opted out of the friendly so they can be available for their clubs’ upcoming La Liga2 promotion play-offs.

Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa — who was in goal for Heartland against Nasarawa United on Sunday — is also omitted.
However, Galatasaray’s Valentine Ozornwafor makes the list, despite not being included in the provisional squad.
