Semi Ajayi on the scoresheet as West Brom return to winning ways

Semi Ajayi netted his fifth league goal of the season, as West Brom ended a seven-game winless streak in the English Championship with a 2-0 win against Luton Town at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
Restored to the starting line-up after missing the trip to Cardiff City due to suspension, the Nigeria international followed up Donervon Daniels’ own-goal to earn the Baggies their first victory since a 3-2 comeback win at Birmingham on December 14.
Daniels turned the ball into is own net in the 14th minute following a cross from Callum Robinson to give the hosts the lead.
The Baggies then searched for a second with a barrage of attacks – and with 20 minutes left, Ajayi headed in from close range from Matt Philips’ excellent delivery.
The home side kept on pressing and late on, they went close through Robinson, before being denied by Simon Sluga.
The result returned Slaven Bilić’s side to the summit of the Sky Bet Championship.
