Alhassan Ibrahim moves to Nacional after failing to secure Maritimo deal
Nigeria international Alhassan Ibrahim has joined Primeira Liga club CD Nacional on a four-year deal.

Last month, the 21-year-old reportedly penned a four-year deal with Maritimo. The player was unveiled at the club’s facility.
Speaking to the club’s media during the unveiling, the former Wikki Tourists player said: “I have huge will to play.”
The deal, however, sensationally crashed after Maritimo and the player’s original owner, Abuja-based FC Hearts, could not agree on a transfer fee.
Following the breakdown in negotiations, fellow Madeira club Nacional expressed keen interest in signing the player, with club president Rui Alves flying to Nigeria for talks with FC Hearts officials — and the clubs eventually reached a deal.
