Lokomotiv Moscow sign Nigeria World Cup defender on free transfer

Nigeria international Brian Idowu has joined Russia Premier League champions Lokomotiv Moscow.
The defender penned a deal with the Railroaders on Tuesday after seeing out his contract at Amkar Perm.

Having committed his international allegiance to Nigeria, he will count as a foreign player in the squad registration, despite being born in Russia.
Idowu, 26, has been assigned the no. 3 shirt.
