NPFL ANNOUNCES FIXTURES FOR PRESEASON TOURNAMENT
FIXTURES for the NPFL Invitational Tournament 2017 have been released and they reveal some potentially thrilling ties.
The tournament – which will usher in the new season – will feature the league’s top three finishers, Plateau United, MFM FC and Enyimba; Aiteo Cup winners, Akwa United; hosts’ club, Kano Pillars; and the CHAN Eagles.
League champions Plateau United will kick off the competition, as they face Enyimba on Monday, December 11.
In the second game of the opening day, Aiteo Cup winners Akwa United will square up against League runners-up MFM FC.
The final is scheduled for Sunday, December 17.
