SUPER EAGLES WATCH: IHEANACHO SCORES FIRST LEICESTER GOAL

Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first Leicester goal, as the Foxes came from behind to beat EFL side Leeds 3-1 in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Marc Albrighton sent a long ball forward and Islam Slimani pressured the ball enough to force Leeds keeper Felix Wiedwald to parry it out. The ball fell to Iheanacho, who despite being under pressure to fire a first-time shot, took his time to cut back onto his left before curling it into the bottom left corner, to cancel Pablo Hernandez’s opener.
The Nigerian assisted Islam Slimani for the second goal and Riyad Mahrez added a third to send the Premier League club to the last eight of the competition.
Iheanacho’s international team-mates, Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi, were on the Leicester bench.
