FIFA CLEARS OLA AINA TO REPRESENT NIGERIA

Chelsea defender, Ola Aina has been cleared by the football governing body, Fifa to represent Nigeria.
The 20-year old right-back, who is on a season-long loan at English Football League Championship club, Hull City, was born in London to Nigerian parents.
Despite having a Nigerian passport, Aina has represented England at various junior levels and needed to apply to Fifa to change his international allegiance.
Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr said Aina, could make his debut for Nigeria in a World Cup qualifier against Cameroon on Monday, as the Super Eagles gun for a second victory in four days over the African Champions.
“Fifa have approved Ola Aina who can now play for Nigeria,” Rohr said in Uyo, after Nigeria thrashed Cameroon 4-0 on Friday to edge closer to Russia.
The German tactician wanted to hand him his first Super Eagles cap in the Friday’s clash, but Fifa clearance did not arrive in time.
Aina has played every minute of Hull City’s league games this season.
