​REMO STARS v FC IFEANYI UBAH TIE IN DOUBT AFTER 16 PLAYERS HIT BY FOOD POISONING

Remo Stars’ NPFL matchday 28 game against FC Ifeanyi Ubah on Sunday may be postponed after 16 of their players were struck down with food poisoning.
According to an official statement, 13 first-team members of the Sagamu club, including captain Victor Mbaoma, Ekene Awazie and Salefu Ochowechi, “are very sick with food poisoning.”
The players and Goalkeeper Trainer, Dahiru Ilu, suffered stomachaches almost simultaneously on Saturday evening after eating a meal of semovita and egusi soup and were taken to General Hospital, Ikenne. 
The list of sick players, also includes Umar Martaba, Oknuoghae Osas, Edozie Ewelike, Onovo David, Ekene Awazie, Abiodun Awoyemi, Ekene Obi, Saudi Muhammed, Paul Isaac, David Walbe, Shuji Oshobe and Akeem Taiwo.

Mbaoma, the most ill, could barely walk.
