FC IFEANYI UBAH UNVEIL FIVE PLAYERS

FC Ifeanyiubah, have announced the signing of five players for the second round of the 2015/2016 NPFL season via its official twitter handle @FCIfeanyiubah on 9:10 AM Sunday.
The Nnewi-based club posted pictures showing Niger Tornadoes top scorer, Ismail Gata, Heartland’s defenders, Wale Doyeni and Isaac Loute, Ghanaian import Baah Kojo, and Kano Pillars forward, Bello Kofarmata signed during the mid-season transfer window.
Gata has been handed the same jersey number he wore at Niger Tornadoes 33, while Loute, Doyeni, Kofarmata and Kojo have been given numbers 21, 25, 29 and 3 respectively.
Sunshine Stars and Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa is also on the shopping list of the club.
However, the five players have not been officially cleared by the LMC, as FC Ifeanyiubah were yet to provide attestation from its players stating that all outstanding salary obligation have been settled.
“As at close of business on Friday, the club are awaiting the all clear flag from the LMC for two players of Heartland, one from Niger Tornadoes, Kano Pillars, Sunshine Stars and a Ghanaian import, ” npfl. ng stated on Saturday.
FC Ifeanyiubah, currently placed 11th on the NPFL log with 27 points from 18 matches will be hosted by Gata’s former club Niger Tornadoes in one of the Matchday 20 fixture today at Confluence stadium, Lokoja.
