The Nationwide league board recently merge Division 2 and Division 3 to create the Youth League, as contained in the five-year master plan approved by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

According to the media department of the nation’s third-tier league, the secretariat will judiciously adhere to the registration guidelines before the deadline on March 6, 2023.

Clubs will pay ₦200,000.00 as registration fee, which gives access to complete the registration process on the league’s database portal.

However, the ₦200,000.00 registration fee covers pre-competition medical assessment, comprehensive insurance cover for players and officials, tamper-proof hologram security seal and other materials for the registered players and officials.

The Youth League will only have players within the age bracket of 16 and 19 years and clubs are expected to submit Players’ Birth Certificates, Primary School Leaving Certificates and National Identification Number (NIN), to help combat age-cheating.

Clubs in the division must also present their Certificate Of Incorporation as a football club, and also be on FIFA Connect online platform.
