Samuel Kalu: Nigeria winger joins Watford from Bordeaux
Watford have completed the transfer of Samuel Kalu from Bordeaux, with the Nigeria international signing a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League club.
The 24-year-old put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at Vicarage until June 2025, after undergoing a medical on Wednesday.

“Kalu is a Hornet,” the club, who named Roy Hodgson as a replacement for Claudio Ranieri, announced on Twitter.
Kalu, who has 13 caps for Nigeria, becomes the fourth January signing for the Hornets following the acquisition of left-hand Hassane Kamara, central defender Samir and defensive midfielder Edo Kayembe.
Watford slipped into the bottom-three following Friday’s embarrassing 3-0 loss to Norwich City, and new boss Hodgson would be hoping the new signings can help turn the club’s fortunes around.
