Olawale Doyeni leaves Dakkada to join Enugu Rangers

Enugu Rangers have completed the signing of Olawale Doyeni from Dakkada.
Doyeni’s agent travelled to Enugu last week to conclude negotiations with Enugu club, before the centre-back put pen to paper on a three-year deal which will keep him at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium until the end of the 2023-24 season.
The defender, who joined Dakkada at the start of last season, was on the radar of Enyimba — before signing for Rangers — after a brilliant campaign with the Uyo club.

Doyeni was one of Dakkada’s top performers

Enyimba, 234fotball understands, reached a tentative agreement to sign the former Heartland defender but later backed out of the deal, turning their attention to other options.
Doyeni was also wanted by Wikki Tourists and Kano Pillars, who reportedly launched a late bid to take him to the Kano Pillars Stadium.
The Ondo-born player has already joined up with his new team-mates at Ogui Road.
Isaac George has also departed Dakkada

He becomes the fourth player to leave Dakkada since the current transfer window opened, following the departures of Isaac George, Austin Osayande and Solomon Chigozie.
George and Osayande are now with Dakkada’s neighbours Akwa United, while Chigozie has moved to Wikki Tourists.
