Fidelis Ilechukwu unveiled as Plateau United head coach

Plateau United have unveiled Fidelis Ilechukwu as their new head coach after he left his post at Heartland.
The former MFM boss has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at the New Jos Stadium and replaces Abdu Maikaba, who left the club at the end of last season.
Ilechukwu took over as Heartland coach in August 2019 after ending his 13-year reign as MFM manager.
He guided Heartland to a 13th-place finish in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The 43-year-old has been handed the task of securing the one-time NPFL champions continental football in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Plateau United — who finished ninth in the NPFL standings last season — have bolstered their squad with a host of signings.

Reuben Bala has rejoined Plateau United

Reuben Bala, who won the NPFL title with the club in 2017, has re-signed for the club after leaving Enyimba.
Ikechukwu Nwani, whose Akwa United contract was not renewed after helping the club win the NPFL, has also moved to the New Jos Stadium.
