Paul Onuachu wins Man of the Match award following brace in Oostende victory
The Man-of-the-Match award — which was announced on Tuesday — was the striker’s second in as many matches, having won the same award in the 3-1 victory over KV Mechelen last week.

The 26-year-old netted twice to put his side 2-1 up after Northern Ireland midfielder Cameron McGeehan had given the visitors the lead, but Genk — who finished the game with ten men following the dismissal of Bastien Toma — were denied all three points by a late Makhtar Gueye goal.
Blauw-Wits went behind in the Pro League game at Luminus Arena in the third minute after McGeehan stabbed home a loose ball after goalkeeper Maarten Vandevoordt spilled a shot.
Onuachu then scored twice — heading home Joakim Maehle’s cross before netting from the penalty spot — to overturn the deficit, but Senegalese striker Gueye’s brilliant header seven minutes from time rescued a point for De Kustboys.
Monday’s brace took the former Midtjylland forward’s goals tally to six in six Pro League games this season — and extended his scoring streak to three matches.
Last week, the striker — who was overlooked by Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr for the forthcoming friendlies with Algeria and Tunisia — scored twice in the Blauw-Wit’s home win against KV Mechelen.
