Orji, 27, hit the back of the net on the 84 minute – six minutes after coming off the bench – to drew Linköpings on level terms with visiting Vittsjö.

The former Rivers Angels striker had her effort deflected into the net by Vittsjö’s Sandra Adolfsson, following a defensive mix-up.

Danish defender, Mie Leth Jans had shot Vittsjö to 1-0 lead 11 minutes after restart, before Orji’s leveller – her first goal in 11 games and sixth of the season.

However, the three-time Swedish women top-flight champions could not hold on to a draw, as Jans completed her brace with an injury time header off a corner, to earn Vittsjö its fifth straight win.

Orji’s compatriot, Uchenna Kanu, played the entirety of the match and was brandished a yellow card on the 82nd minute.

The 23-year-old former Sevilla forward, who is the club’s leading scorer with seven goals this season, had her attempt via a header saved by Shannon Lynn in the first half.

Another Super Falcon on Linköpings’ roster, Chinaza Uchendu did not make Olof Unogård’s squad for the matchday 15 tie.

Orji’s Linköpings sit fourth on the 12-team log with 26 points and will keep a date with bottom-placed Uppsala on Sunday, September 27, at the Studenternas IP Arena.
