Aniekpeno Udoh seals KuPs move

Aniekpeno Udoh has joined Finnish champions Kuopio Palloseura from swedish club Ljungskile on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old moves to the Veikkausliiga outfit on a one-year deal after helping Ljungskile gain promotion to the swedish second tier (Superettan) last season.
Udoh began his professional career at Akwa United. After two seasons with the Uyo club, he moved to Norwegian side Viking, where he was loaned out to another Norwegian club — Levanger — the following season.
In 2018, Udoh returned to Viking but after failing to command a regular first-team place, he was loaned out again — this time, to Ljungskile. His stay at Ljungskile was later made permanent.
Last season, the nigerian striker finished as the top scorer in Division 1 Södra (swedish third tier) with 18 goals, as Ljungskile secured promotion to Superettan.
The Uyo-born forward, according to a club statement, could make his debut for Jörgen Wålemark’s side in Saturday’s Finnish Cup with Haka, “provided that the international players license issues can be resolved in good time by the day of the game.”
