YUSUF NAMES NWAKALI, EDUOK FOR ATLETICO FRIENDLY

Former Nigeria U20 international captain Kelechi Nwakali has been selected by Salifu Yusuf for Nigeria’s friendly with Europa League champions, Atletico Madrid.

The 19-year old, who played for Dutch side MVV Maastricht on loan from Arsenal last season, is joined by Kasimpasa winger, Emem Eduok and former Akwa United hitman, Alhassan Ibrahim, who now plays for Austria Wien.
Yusuf also named several Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) stars for the match, which is scheduled for May 22 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo.
Katsina United’s defender, Destiny Ashadi; Plateau United duo, Raphael Ayagwa and Tosin Omoyele; as well as CHAN star, Ikouwem Utin are the big NPFL stars headlining the list.
