​WEST HAM UNITED STEP UP INTEREST IN 22-YEAR-OLD NIGERIAN

English Premier League side, West Ham United have reportedly been monitoring the prospects of out-of-favour Birmingham City winger, Viv Solomon-Otabor, who is looking to quit the Championship side. 

Otabor struggled for game time under manager Harry Redknapp and was sent out on loan to Blackpool, where he has impressed — bagging five goals and six assists in 45 appearances.
In the second half of the 2016/17 season, the 22-year old made four league appearances for Bolton Wanderers. 
The winger’s dribbling abilities, pace and discipline have caught the attention of many clubs and West Ham, who will be aiming to strenghten their squad in the summer, could sign the Nigerian wide man for cheap.
Standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall, the youngster still has time to develop into a full-fledged professional for a top-tier English side. 
Born in London to parents originally from Edo, Otabor is the nephew of former Nigerian international, Thompson Oliha. His father, Victor-Banks Otabor, played for Bendel Insurance.
The player was invited by Nigeria Olympic Team to undergo a trial in June 2015. He even trained with the Nigerian team ahead of 2015 All Africa Campaign.
