Enyimba new signing Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Lobi Stars duo Anthony Okpotu and Kingsley Eduwo – who were part of Nigeria’s bronze-winning side at this year’s WAFU Cup – as well as FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s Stephen Eze and Kano Pillars midfielder Rabiu Ali are also called up for the tournament.
But Akwa United duo Emmanuel Ariwa and Ubong Friday miss out.
The squad arrived Kano on Saturday ahead of the Super 6 tournament, which will kick off on Monday.
Yusuf intends to use the tournament to prepare his team for the CHAN competition, which will hold from January 13 to February 4 in Rwanda.
