ENGLAND

Tammy Abraham paved way for Ivorian international, Wilfried Bony in the 72nd minute as Swansea held Tottenham to a goalless draw at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
Alex Iwobi – Arsenal

Alex Iwobi starred for 79 minutes in Sunday’s London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, which ended goalless.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi – Leicester City
Kelechi Iheanacho made his first Premier League start for Leicester City on Saturday, playing behind England international forward, Jamie Vardy in a 1-1 draw at newly promoted Huddersfield.
The former Manchester City striker was replaced by Japanese forward, Shinji Okazaki on the 69th minute of the game.
Nigeria defefensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, played the entirety of the game, while Ahmed Musa was not listed by Craig Shakespeare for the game.
GERMANY
Leon Balogun – Mainz 05
Leon Balogun stood out amongst FSV Mainz 05 back-three despite Sandro Schwarz men losing 4-0 to Bundesliga powerhouse, Bayern Munich at the Alianz ArenA on Saturday.
FRANCE
Chidozie Awaziem – Nantes

Chidozie Awaziem was in action for FC Nantes from start to finish, as Claudio Ranieri’s side hosted Caen in Ligue 1 matchday six fixture on Saturday.
The home team claimed all three points through Andrei Girotto’s strike, with the Nigerian defender providing the assist.
BELGIUM
Taiwo Awoniyi – Royal Mouscron; Peter Olayinka – Zulte-Wagerem

Taiwo Awoniyi scored his second league goal of the season in Mouscron’s loss at Zulte-Wagerem.
The youngster, who is on a season-loan loan from Liverpool, provided the opener, but Mouscron fought back to claim a 2-1 win.
Peter Olayinka awarded with the Record Bank August 2017 Zulte-Waregem Player of the Month

Wagerem featured Peter Olayinka. The forward could not add to his three goals, and was booked in the first-half.
Henry Onyekuru – Anderlecht; Abdul Ajagun – Kortrijk

Henry Onyekuru came off the bench to rescue a point for RSC Anderlecht in a 2-2 draw with KV Kortrijk on Saturday.
His compatriot, Abdul Ajagun, who was in Kortrijk’s starting line-up, was also on the scoresheet.
TURKEY
William Troost-Ekong, Mikel Agu – Bursaspor; Azubuike Okechukwu – Yeni Malatyaspor

Nigeria international William Troost-Ekong was on target for Bursaspor, as Paul Le Guen’s side cruised to a 4-2 win at Yeni Malatyaspor,a matchday five of the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
Yeni Malatyaspor had former Nigeria U23 international captain Azubuike Okechukwu in their starting XI.
Ekong’s international team-mate, Mikel Agu, was also in action for Bursapor. He was issued a yellow card on 29 minutes.
Kenneth Omeruo, Emem Eduok – Kasimpasa
Galatasaray beat Kenneth Omeruo’s Kasimpasa 2-0 in a Turkish Super Lig match on Saturday through goals from former Swansea striker, Bafetimbi Gomis.
Omeruo came on in the second-half, while his compatriot Emem Eduok started the game.
Eduok, who went into the book in the first-half, was substituted 10 minutes after the break.
NORWAY
Samuel Adegbenro – Rosenborg; Chidera Ejuke – Valerenga
Samuel Adegbenro tasted the last 28 minutes of action, as his Eliteserien club, Rosenborg beat visiting Valerenga 3-0 on Sunday to stay top of the Norwegian zenith league
The 21-year-old, who suffered a knock in a Wednesday’s Europa league loss at Real Sociedad, replaced Milan Jevtovivlc.
Adegbenro is the club’s third highest scorer in the league with seven goals – five behind top scorer Niklas Bendtner with 12 goals after 22 rounds of matches.
Chidera Ejuke, 18, was an unused substitute for the visiting Valerenga side.
AUSTRIA
Alhassan Ibrahim – Austria Wien 
Former Akwa United and Wikki Tourists central attacking midfielder, Alhassan Ibrahim, made  his Bundesliga debut for his Austrian side, FK Austria Wien, as they white-washed SK Polten 5-1 in a matchday eight fixture on Sunday.
The 20-year old former Nigeria youth international was involved in the build-up to Wien’s fourth goal. He received a standing ovation from Wien’s fans as he was replaced by Petar Gluhakovic in the 89th minute.
FINLAND
Gbolahan Salami, Reuben Gabriel – KuPS
Gbolahan Salami | KuPS Kuopio

Gbolahan Salami came off the bench on 76 minutes to score a brace for KuPs in a 3-1 win away to Vaasan Palloseura in a matchday 27 Veikkausliga encounter. His goals came within two minutes of each other.
The 26-year old former Warri Wolves forward took his tally to 7 in 20 league appearances and is now the club’s joint league top scorer with Ats Purje.
Salami’s Nigerian teammate, Reuben Gabriel starred for 90 minutes – his 24th appearance for the Nordic club.
CHINA
John Obi Mikel – Tianjin Teda; Odion Ighalo – Changchun Yatai

John Obi Mikel Obi was cautioned as his side Tianjin Teda lost 1-5 at home to Odion Ighalo’s Changchun Yatain a Chinese Super League matchday 25 clash.
Ighalo assisted Brazilian striker, Marinho to score Yatai’s second goal seven minutes before the break, before netting the fifth goal in the 69th minute to take his tally to 12.
Mikel, Teda’s captain, was making his seventh start of the season, while his compatriot Brown Ideye, was not listed for the match.
