ONYEKURU DREAMS OF TOP SCORER AWARD

Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru says he's hopeful of finishing top of the Jupiler goalscorer chart.

The forward has been in excellent form for KAS Eupen all season, scoring 18 league goals, including six in the playoffs.
Onyekuru joined Eupen from the Aspire Academy in 2015, and having helped fire the club to promotion last season, he has starred in the Jupiler Pro League this term.
Eupen continue their playoff campaign against KV Kortrijk on Saturday. Onyekuru believes he can keep on scoring in the playoffs.
Asked if he’s eyeing the leading scorer award, he said: “Yes, but I just keep doing my job.”
The Pandas coach Jordi Condom admits he’d be delighted to see the 20-year-old lead the goalscorer chart at the end of the season.
He said: “It would be nice if the team could help Henry to fight for this title of top scorer in the last three matches.”
Onyekuru’s performances have reportedly attracted interest from England, Germany, Russia and Scotland. The player himself is eager to leave the club.
In January, the winger was reported to have gone AWOL in a bid to force a move away from the club.
Several English clubs want to sign the KAS Eupen striker. According to UK outlet Dailymail, Southampton, Crystal Palace and Everton are weighing up offers for teenage striker.
The Nigerian scored his sixth goal in seven games for Belgian side Eupen on Sunday.
Onyekuru wasn’t able to prevent his side losing 2-1 to Genk but did enhance his reputation further as he took his season’s tally to 18 goals.
Southampton, Crystal Palace and Everton,

Club Brugge and Anderlecht have made £6.7million offers for the teenager though his preference is move to England.
However, Premier League clubs will need to outbid the Belgian duo and offer wages of around £32,000 a week for him to qualify for a work permit under the totting-up procedure.
Onyekuru has scored the majority of his goals from the wing but can play across the frontline, as Eupen finished 13th in the regular season Jupiler League table.
