ISHOLA WINS BELARUS SUPER CUP

Minsk claimed the Belarus Women Super Cup on Monday courtesy of 2-0 win over rivals Bobruichanka, with first half goals from Nigeria
international Tawa Ishola and Yekaterina Lutskevich.
Ishola put her side ahead after 29 minutes, turning in Tatyana Kiose’s brilliant cross at the far post, and Lutskevich increased the lead five minutes later.
Interestingly, six nigerians started the game, though goalscorer Ishola did not finish the game like the rest of the nigerians, as she was replaced by ukrainian midfielder Olga Melkoviats after 57 minutes.
Besides Ishola, the winners featured centre-back Onome Ebi and Gift Otuwe. And, at the other end of the pitch, there were also three nigerians- Ijeoma Obi, Sayk Obioma and Ilobekeme Alabi.
